Great Preparation for new nurses and their family
I bought this book for my daughter (an aspiring nurse) and listen to it myself - I had no real appreciation of the nursing job - I feel I understand her profession so much better now - and can support her. She just started listening to the book as well and is half way through - her comments were:" exactly what I needed!" So I believe this is a great book to prepare young nurses and their families for years to come :)

My best friend’s daughter is thinking about nursing school, so we checked this book out. It doesn’t sugarcoat anything—it talks about burnout, tough patients, dealing with doctors, and even how nurses can be rough on each other. The “Nurses Eat Their Young” chapter really stood out. It also breaks down myths, like nursing being just a caring job. It gave her a lot to think about before jumping in, and honestly, I think every future nurse should read it first.
