The narrator can make or break the story. This narrator has just the right combination of tone and pace. She reads each character with distinction and gives the reader a real sense of who they are. Wish that she would read all of Willa Cather.

Well written but crappy story. Bleh. Disappointed. Story twist is twisted. I was unimpressed. Won’t bother with Cather again.

Never connected with the characters or the story. Greatly disliked the wooden narration with terrible (and unnecessary) accents. Overall painful experience.
