This book is a treasure, filled with so much valuable information. Going off grid, or even thinking about having a more sustainable existence takes a great deal of thought and preparation. So much of the thinking and prep work is done for you here. To me, going off grid seems like a life of isolation, I wasn't aware of the communities around the country where people come together to help each other and share ideas. Another thing I learned is that it doesn't take a massive plot of land. This book explains where to live with regard to taxes, water rights, off-grid power and communities. Why try to figure it out for yourself, when you have someone who has done extensive research and provides the guidance you need to succeed. I highly recommend this audiobook!
