Acerca de esta escucha

I swear I didn't do it on purpose. All I wanted was a harmless kiss from the handsome stranger at my eighteenth birthday party. But when he said that he doesn't kiss "annoying little girls," I stupidly decided to flirt with a random guy to make him jealous.

I never wanted that random guy to fall in love with me. But now I have a new boyfriend while I can't stop thinking about the guy who doesn't care that I exist. So it's time to move on and focus on my new relationship.

Only the moment I make that decision, he decides to notice me. He decides to stare at me a little too hard and in a way that makes me blush. Oh and one day when my boyfriend isn't looking, he decides to corner me in a lonely hallway and put his rough and heated hands on me that feels equal parts forbidden and familiar.

But I'm not stupid. I'm not going to ruin my new relationship for someone that people call Stellan "The Cold" Thorne. Especially not when the random guy I'm dating isn't random at all.

No, my new boyfriend happens to be the brother of the guy I'm inappropriately obsessed with. And I'm not the kind of girl who comes between two brothers. Twin brothers . . .

Or am I?

Contains mature themes.

I am so excited this finally came out on audiobook. I love these Thorne brothers, and the fact that we got another brother in this book made me so happy. I've been through the oldest Thorne brother and the youngest Thorne brother. Even the youngest Thorne, Callie. So, that leaves the twins, and this one is the coldest twins book, Stellan.

If you've read any of Saffron A Kent's books that involve the Thorne siblings, then you know Stellan as the quiet, in the background twin. I'm so glad we got to know him better in this book and what makes him tick.

Isadora or Dora, as he calls her, is an outgoing young lady. She is free spirited and always pushes the boundaries when people try to cage her, mainly her parents. She meets a man in the shadows, at a party her parents are throwing for her 18th birthday.

She's instantly curious about this man and the way he talks to her. He's the only person who has ever told her she shouldn't do things because it could cause her harm. She's only ever punished for her actions, and she gets other people in trouble, too. Yet, she pushes back and doesn't take it.

Her parents don't like her, and her mother is awful compared to her father, who just ignores her. Does is an attending seeker and doesn't do things the right way when it comes to men. She knows how to tease them to get what she wants, but not the man in the shadow.

Stellan pushes her away that night because of issues he has with himself. He thinks his twin, Shephard, is the best person for women to go after. He always thinks he belongs in the background, even denying himself what he truly wants.

Dora does go after his twin to try and make Stellan jealous. What she gets is herself in a mess. The wrong twin had fallen for her and wants to be with her. She only thinks of Shepard as her best friend, but she did lead the public into believing they were a couple.

After Stellan does something he shouldn't have, he tricked Dora into believing he was his twin over the phone. Once he comes clean, it makes Dora come clean to Shephard about her true feelings for his twin. So, what does Shephard do to help fix things... he purposes to Dora in front of everyone.

Dora doesn't want to betray her best friend and says yes. The only person in her life who gives her solid advice is her grandmother. She says it's wrong, and she shouldn't be doing this. Yet, Dora doesn't want to hurt Shephard because he's always been there for her.

After her mother does something awful and she comes clean to Stellan about it, he had Dora come in the road with the team for their soccer games to protect her. Stellan always wants to protect Dora and keep her safe.

Yet, on this road trip, her fiancé Durant wants to run with her and pretty much pushes her aside until it's convenient for him. That pushes Stellan and Dora closer together until they can't stay away from one another.

Stellan gets jealous and unhinged when it comes to his twin touching her and other guys looking at her. Yet, he had to stay away from her because he thinks he's no good. His twin tries to provoke him at every chance he can get. Shephard seems to push Stellan's buttons and wants him to fight him.

These twins had some issues. That may get solved near the end, or may not. Shephard's book is next, and I'm curious to see inside his mind and get what he thinks. We do get to see pieces of him and Jupiter at times in this book. I'm so ready for their book!

I have this book a 4 because I really didn't care for Dora's character at times. It made her seem really immature and like a little girl. She rants and whines until she gets what she wants. She expected Stellan to fall in love with her and didn't think she was doing anything wrong. Yet, she was using his twin to get to him and even lied to him about a lot. Yet, that wasn't brought up near the end. Just what he did wrong.

I did like the whole calling him Daddy at times. It was hot, and the outside of the bar public scene was hot, too. I wish I could have gotten more of the daddy role he played at certain times and the belt scenes. It seemed like he either was a Dom at certain times, then he wasn't. I was confused some.

The narration in this book was good. Amy Hall did amazing as Dora. I loved that she did the Indian accents so well and the male voices. Especially Stellan's voice. She played every role well and made it sound like a different person all together with her voice. Scott Rose did ok as Stellan. We didn't get many chapters as him, but he did well. His voice was done better by Amy, though, in my opinion.

Stellan and his brothers fiance!!
