Includes many stories about guest stars like Steve Buscemi, Peter Bogdanovich, and Lauren Bacall, as well as the beloved cast, including new tales of James Gandolfini, who Kamine first meets after David Chase casts him as the Dean of Admissions in the classic first season "College" episode.

Woven in is a personal story of home life and strife, achievement and frustration, anxiety and accomplishment. The book's epilogue brings listeners up to the moment as the author, after many more years as an anonymous everyman, eventually enjoys outsize professional success as executive producer of the HBO hit series created by Mike White, The White Lotus.

It’s not really an insightful book about the Sopranos or any other production the author worked on. The story bounces from subject to subject without offering much of anything interesting. Was really hoping to experience the Sopranos from a different perspective but nope. I really disliked the narration too. Can’t really recommend.

Rambling and disorganized

I, almost without exception, will read reviews of books, whether audible, kindle or actual page turners, before ordering. This was one of the exceptions and I can only blame myself. The book is basically a memoir of the authors professional and personal life and any information about The Sopranos is merely incidental to the memoir as a whole. I have nothing against this fellow, had never heard of him before, but had I known the books content I would not have ordered it. Also the narration, in my opinion, was very poor.

The narrator was awful. I can't believe he's narrated so many books, I will never purchase another book he's on.

I’m about 2yrs in to working on big productions and a lot of this book hits home. Quite enjoyable!
