I felt bad for Tamesine, she was forced to make a hard choice and go against everything she believed in...and she did it to save her family and friends!!!

I love this series...I can not wait for book 12 on audio...I broke down and bought it for Kindle...and I rarely do that unless its a WS deal....I am spoiled..I am a listener...reading the old fashioned way is not something I normally do...but I WILL, and I know its going to be worth it! This is Merry and Taggart's love story...and Its hot and sexy!! I enjoyed it very much and recommend this entire series!!!

There is Not a book Buy C.L. that I haven't loved! This one included! Her writing style is just so great! I LOVE The First's Family and crave the next book!! I couldn't imagine another narrator! Pyper is just so Perfect!! Thank You for another Fantastic Journey!

I love this book and I really love this entire series! In this book, it is Mary (Lauren's employee from the flower shop - who is now the owner of the flower shop) who's life is in danger. Claude who is still after Lauren, captures Mary to lure Lauren in and this starts us off with the new story...

This book is a thrilling and exciting paranormal read and so very HOT too! I love where these stories take us and the narrator is so good, she only adds to the thrills. The author, C L Quinn does a superb job on this series in each and every book. I love what Ms Quinn does with all her stories. I enjoy revisiting old friends and characters from book to book. I get a comfort feeling when I am hearing the voices of characters I already know! The narrator, Pyper Down never lets us down with her fabulous accents and multiple voices. She delivers us a superb story each and every book with so much emotion and heart. Together, these two ladies totally entertain us like no one else can!

I loved this short novella. I'm actually happy it wasn't one of those real short novellas like so many out there are. This was a five hour novella and some author's only write one and two hour stories. I'm happy author C.L. Quinn made this more like a story than a novella. I figured this would be the perfect time to post a review for this audio. The story is based at Christmas time and it so happens to be a few days from Christmas now. I loved this story and I really enjoyed that Quinn brought all of the Firsts and others vampires that are part of the family together at Christmas time in France to celebrate. You know that things never go as planned and before you know it, rescuing friends becomes their first priority. Quinn has written a thrilling, adventurous, dangerous, and as always a romantic story. You'll have to read this story or listen to get details. I just can't spoil it for anyone.

Pyper Down is a very talented narrator. I love how she gives her own take on the story and believe it because she does. She gives each character their accents and voices. I know that Quinn gives her some idea of how she wants them to sound but its Pyper that keeps giving these distinguishing accents to each character. Pyper puts emotion in her voice when telling the story. I can feel the characters pain, happiness, anger, and everything that brings this story to life. Overall, a perfect 5 star rating!

I'm the first one to get totally into book series. But if you're writing about supposedly "First Blood" vampires. Giving the impression that they are something special. Then why are they so easily captured, manipulated, and outright made to look so pitiful!
I don't get it. I keep reading just to see just how much more pitiable these "First Blood's" become.
