One look was all it took for Calder to be drawn to Hale. She has a light about her that drew him in, and he was never the same, but she is his daughter's best friend and the last thing he wanted was to drive his daughter away, so he tried to stay away from Hale. This heartfelt story is emotionally charged and had me all caught up in the main characters as they navigated their path to happiness.
