With the help of Chief Master Sergeant Joseph Black, the creator of Clio, the time-traveling initiative; his son Colonel John Black; and a sympathetic senator, Rees makes good on his promise to take O’Toole home. Things, however, don’t go as planned.

Saddled with a Special Forces captain no one trusts, the plan goes awry, and Rees and his team must fight their way through the bloody battlefields of history, one wrong move threatening to derail the timeline and trapping them forever in the past.

I often think that with audiobooks, a narrator can make or break the book. This narration was really great and made the book an easy listen. At times the writing gets monotonous but the story is great. Worth a listen, especially if you like military stories and/or sci-fi.

This is a military suspense book with some futuristic twists and turns. Mark Roberts has a great imagination, as the listener never knows what will happen next! From the very beginning, the characters come to life with Colin Martin’s action-paced narrating! His voice is clear and crisp, making the story even more effective! I really enjoyed the clever ending! Thanks for the fun, Mark and Colin!
