Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this to anyone who likes a "cozy" mystery. Well written, in typical Ngaio Marsh style.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Roderick Alleyn, of course. The urbane and insightful detective.

What about Anton Lesser’s performance did you like?

I've enjoyed his film performances so much that I was eager to listen to his performances as a narrator. I was not disappointed. He is wonderful to listen to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions, but it was a nice relaxing listen that kept me guessing.
