They left a culture of fair-minded goodness and upward striving to do the right thing. Now they face petty grievances, underhanded real-estate dealings, and less than stellar townspeople. This veteran couple just wants to raise their family in a wholesome setting. They thought this small college town would provide the perfect place. Human nature is to preserve self. God's nature is to love unconditionally.
