I'm on the road a lot, with a new groupie in my bed at a different luxury hotel every night. But all I can think about is my sister's best friend, Maddie. She's the only woman who ever meant something to me. And, God, was she sexy back in the day. I can still feel her wrapped around me.

It feels like everyone left me behind. All my old friends have families and impressive careers. I've seen Liam's games on TV since he went pro. Of course, he's as scorching hot as ever. I just can't get him out of my skin.

I'm still working my high school gig at the local greasy spoon, plus another job to support my daughter. Don't get me wrong. Bridget is my world. But I wish I had a strong man to share my life with. I don't know if I can do it alone anymore, or keep the secret I've been hiding for four years.

I think the story line would have been ok, but the narrator was so bad that I couldn't get into it at all. He may be better at a different kind of book, but at this type, NOT SO MUCH.

The story was okay... Thank god it was short because the worst thing about this was trying to listen to the narrator ..

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The reading was good, but the voices created were distracting.
