This book was hard for me to get into at first because of the pain of the caricatures but once I started I could not put my i pod down.... I found my self crying for angel... I have never cried while reading a book before this is the first for me. I loved this book It is my first by the author and I cant wait to purchase another. I hope you love this book as much as I have. And I loved the ending.

By far one of the most romantic love stories I've ever read. The trials that Sarah endures will make you want to jump into the book. But just when you think all hope is lost....here comes God's intervention...that takes Sarah/Angel through the unknowns of what love is truly about. What an awesome journey for many of the characters in this book. This story will touch your heart in so many ways.

Would you listen to Redeeming Love again? Why?

YES very much - this is a tale of Timeless Love - This story takes place in the gold rush era, yet it is easily translates into the lives of the post Millennium reader today. Love is Pure - and Love is True - or at least in the case of Michael Jose. We follow the amazing story of Angel a young girl sold into slavery prostitution and watch/enjoy as her surprising life unfolds.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Angel - for I relate to her the most, but I fell in love with Michael and pray for him to be in my life one day. However, I must say my favorite character is Paul for he accurately portrays 99% of Christians and they way they cannot look at you without judgement. Judgement is the opposite of love.

Have you listened to any of Kate Forbes’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no but she was brilliant at the different tones and voices for each character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The End - but I wont spoil it for you.

I really loved this book and Im so glad I listened to it.

The Truest Form of Love

This story is hard to listen to at times, because the author writes about the human heart so beautifully with undeniable accuracy. How quickly we turn to doubt and fear, even when we are given a chance for redemption and even love. I recommend this to anyone.

To those women with sensitive sexual histories, please be aware that is a large part of the storyline. It may be difficult to listen to, but push on! The end is worth it and you'll come out full of hope!!

Francine Rivers is a truly gifted author, I have yet to find a book I do not like of hers.

Oh goodness! This one!

I have never had chills like this during a novel. (The end got my all the way!)

At times I thought too long & tragic of a love story, but by the end, you understand all the longevity of it. Characters are RICH!

This was such a absolutely touching story and how deep love runs, redemption and forgiveness.

It does have alot of christian references but it is such a beautiful part or the story if you believe in God.

Man! I loved this story with all my heart.
