Was I invested in the characters: mostly

6 years ago, my expectations found both this series and its narrator suitably entertaining, in 2020 though, both Carrie Ann Ryan's writing and Gregory Salinas' narration style has evolved significantly, the stories are still good but just lacking the depth I've come to expect.

This is a good value bundle for someone new to Carrie Ann Ryan's work.

Watch do you get when you put a female earth witch, an Alpha werewolfs son and a human demon hybrid. You get a magical tri couple that have special powers when they are together. This story consists of physical abuse, fighting, detailed love making and so much more. The narration is excellent!

Spicy and action filled read

Only got through the first story and started the second. No character development or conflict to make me care about them. They meet, small conflict, gets resolved with no detail of struggle or how it was resolved… the end.

Very disappointed.

this weak pack from the alpha down to woman . each son is a disappointment .I was so done with Adam I understand but he was just mean & sure did not deserve a her as his mate to much (( I should defend her/protect her ) but never does . as for there heroic acts are all weak they all kidnapped under their watch, i gave this pack a chance I quit with Maddox. ( else roll) he was just dumb abou his mate emotion especially with all she had deal with her entire life under her psychotic brother/father hands .I read many shifter/wolf books all cherish love and stalk their mates this pack is don't get that strong loyal pull to the mates in the entire ser6.
