I loved how the characters didn’t spend the majority of the book liking each other and then not with a bunch of miscommunication. They were into each other from the beginning. Great job!

I read Relationship Goals last year but, when CCJ released it on audiobook, I just had to leave a review. This was an exciting story about accidental love. Noah and Nick were young black love personified. I really enjoyed them as a couple. From their first encounter at the airport to Noah being there for Nick when he was in the hospital. I was really intrigued and drawn into their love affair. CCJ took an illness that plagues the African American community and weaved it into a refreshing love story but, didn’t overwhelm us with it. My only complaint about this book is that it’s a novella. We definitely deserved more Noah and Nick. The narrators did a phenomenal job. This was my first audiobook narrated by Myles Washington and Alyx Monroe and their performance was awesome! I’ll be adding them to my list of favorite narrators. Relationship Goals is a heartwarming read. It was a sweet, feel good love story that I highly recommend it.

so freshness to see a protagonist with a chronic illness portrayed in this way. it doesn't define him but it's who he is and he lives fully with it. I have endometriosis, also very painful and unpredictable, and I feel encouraged by this story. life can still be good and love can blossom for you.

Audible: Alyx Monroe, Myles Washington: This was our first read from Alyx Monroe and she left an impression for sure. Alex brought a sexy confidence and huskiness to Noah’s voice. Noah’s character seemed larger than life and Alyx’s voice reflexed that. Noah was a woman on a mission and Alyx never missed her chance to rise to the occasion. Myles has a uniquely cool voice that brought Nick’s cool and calm demeanor to life. Nick was such a laid-back character and that just seemed to match Myles’s voice perfectly. He told Nick’s story in such an unhurried way that it was so easy to grasp what kind of man Nick was. Both narrators did excellent work and the audible is a must.

Nick Davison: If, “sacrifices have to be made,” was a person it would be Nick. He was just an all-around loving individual.

Noah Houston: If, “walk the walk,” was a person it would be Noah. She had no problem practicing what she preached.

#Relationship Goals by Christina C Jones was a true pleasure to read from beginning to end. This story made you believe in fairytales and love at first sight. It gives the vibe of true love prevailing over all and truly showcases the importance of communication in relationships. The love and respect they had for each other just jumped off the pages and it was everything. This is a must read for sure.
