I was pleasantly surprised how the story unfolded. It kept my interest the whole time. I want able to guess what was coming next.

The description of the plot of this book sounded trite, but it turned out to be a real page turner. You do have to suspend your disbelief, and the twist isn’t that surprising. However, this story hooked me from the beginning, and I was emotionally invested in the characters.

this was a very good read. this book keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. You think you know who it is and what's going on, only to rethink it again and again.

After finishing all of Sally Rigby’s books I started on this collaboration. Amazingly I finished the book but it was like watching a trashy TV show and not turning it off. I wouldn’t call it a thriller or crime novel - rather a romance novel woven around a crime. The story is clumsy and disjointed - a real disappointment. I wondered if one of them wrote the beginning and the other the end - it simply doesn’t fit together - implausible storyline turns and ‘twists’.

I enjoyed the 1st Amanda Rigby collaboration. I have read all of Sally Rigby's books so far. This one missed the mark, IMO.
The twist and "who done it" was not even telegraphed anywhere in the story. Usually when the author hits you with the "who done it" you can look back and piece it together. This one was not. It was disjointed and just offputting. Feels too rushed and tidy.
I was expecting a 4th sister that looked like the sisters, but was as yet unknown. That would have made way more sense. This was just not right.

The story was unrealistic and at times stupid. I always finish a book hoping that maybe it will have an exciting ending. This book was a disappointment from start to finish.

This book is not well-constructed. It feels disjointed and clunky, with contrived, convenient plot points and well timed coincidences. Instead of allowing the characters to develop throughout the story, the authors tend to hit the listener over the head with character traits and back stories.

There is too much time spent on characters' repetitive internal musings. There are cringeworthy monologues such as "he turned off the house alarm AND Jenna was naked and hopefully waiting for him in the tub...VICTORY!"... Ugh, yuck.

Also, the book is full of tired cliches. "Preaching to the choir" is used multiple times out of context.

The story does not flow well and ultimately it is quite forgettable. The ending stretches credulity.

Rigby has written so many good books in the past but this collaboration is disappointing. The beginning is slow and the mental angst repetitive some good parts in the middle with a disappointing ending
