A Mini Mystery.

After a Hollywood crime occurs in a small town, pressure sets in nationwide for answers. And detectives rely on their only lead: a teenage girl who saw the whole thing. But with a medical remedy to unlock it all, detectives suffer the additional mystery of her parents refusing to give consent. And Dedra must play detective herself to find the real reason why.

With her hidden yearbook, and her tricky little sister, it’s an unfamiliar race down memory lane with lots of traffic, and shortcuts of insistence from sidekicks to pranksters to worse. But as justice becomes impatient, and family demands loyalty, Dedra faces a memorable dilemma: should she move past the past, explore it fully, or "remember to forget".

I received this book for free for a honest review. This story was good and fast. I loved the bond between sisters. The author did a great job of keeping me interested and the story line together. The narrator did good work bringing the characters to life. you could feel their emotions. reccomend

It was a really short listen (27 Mins). That left no time for character development - I think there were 6 characters that participated in conversations and another 4 that were referred to. I couldn't really connect with or fully understand any of the main characters. Also, behaviour of some of the characters including parents as well as doctor who was almost ready to perform a procedure without parental consent, was a bit fantastical.

May have been more satisfying if it was a bit longer with enough back story and character development.

Narrator was impressive at times with her ability to voice over different character. I did sped up to about 1.35 though as i felt narration was a bit on the slower side.

This was okay, not great. It is short which was what I was in the mood for I just had a hard time connecting to the story and the characters.
