Erin Mallon
Atticus and Neil are the newly crowned "hottest male narration team" for Mmm-Mmm romance, and they're flying high on the praise.
Nothing can get them down.
Until Vera and Cameron usher a mysterious voice onto the scene and shake the foundation of the audiobook industry itself.
In a world where humanity is all we have, can our group of former friends band together to save the future of storytelling? Or are audiobooks destined to be nothing more than a bunch of beep beep boop?

I haven’t laughed this hard in a while.

As with the past TWCT plays, Erin Mallon has written a funny and compelling story about the trials and tribulations of romance book narration. This play touches on the balance of audiobook narrations, working with authors, and the impact of AI narration in this space. One of the great things about this series that I love is that it is obviously written in an exaggerated way; however, anyone who follows this industry at all will raise their eyebrow wondering how close to the truth this really could be. I love it, I enjoyed everything about it, the freaking rap battle was a treat. ALso loved having the blooper reel on the audio version.
I was able to listen to a copy of the audio version. The whole cast was amazing. Teddy Hamilton, Tanya Eby, Joe Arden, Erin Mallon, Emma Wilder, Maxine Mitchell, Andi Arndt, Shane East and Jason Clarke were such a delight to listen to.
Absolutely Brilliant on all fronts!

This play is the third and final installment in a trilogy of plays celebrating the romance audiobook world. The first two plays are comedic masterpieces because like all good comedy, it shows us our vulnerabilities and allows us to laugh in solidarity with others knowing we are not alone in our thoughts and actions. This play is a beautiful, funny end cap to this very fun trilogy.
I have come to love each character that we have met throughout this trilogy and Erin managed to introduce a new character that embodies a very real concern in this industry; artificial intelligence. Jason Clarke did a brilliant job of voicing the robot Artie Smarts. Because Jason IS human, there was a touch of humanity in his performance that isn't in AI, and that somehow made his character terrifying. I wasn't expecting to feel some tension, as I know that Erin's plays all end happily, but I legitimately felt a bit of anxiety at one point thanks to the actions of this robot.
I could go on and on, but truly I recommend listening to these fabulous plays. I recommend it to everyone, not just romance listeners/readers.
Another Gem from Erin Mallon

Written by Erin Mallon and performed by an amazing cast. The story continues with plenty of shenanigans, laughter, banter, and a side of feels. The conversations between the characters is everything and Erin's ability to write really shines. Jason Clarke was added to the cast and voiced the role of the machine. I had heard/read other narrators from this project proclaim Jason's performance blew them out of the water, and they weren't kidding. If you enjoyed the first two books of this series, you will hands down love this as well.
