Acerca de esta escucha

Meg Cabot—the mastermind behind the best-selling Princess Diaries novels— pens delicious tales eagerly devoured by teens. In Runaway, Emerson Watts continues her fight against the twisted Stark Enterprises while her brain remains trapped inside the body of super model Nikki Howard. Whisked away to Brandon Stark’s secluded love nest, Em has alienated her true love Christopher and her parents, while hoping to learn the terrifying secret Nikki—in her own new body—harbors. Brandon wants this secret too, so he can use the information to take over his dad’s corporate empire. Now with everyone upset with her, Em struggles to find a way out of her situation—and the easiest solution may just be to run away from it all.

A brilliant cat-and-mouse tale, Runaway is a fitting conclusion to Cabot’s Airhead series. Providing a voice for Em, narrator Stina Nielsen keeps the energy high with a thrilling performance.

The story was a very good ending to the Airhead trilogy. You must listen to the first two books, Airhead and Being Nikki, to get the whole picture. The narrator did a nice job too!

Great end of trilogy

Don't waste your credit with this. I loved the Mediator series Meg Cabot wrote. This heroine was annoying. For someone who supposedly is against all things superficial, she certainly whines a lot about herself. It was so difficult getting through her constant complaining! There is nothing new about this storyline. Little guy, big bad take over the world corporation. Blah blah blah. It is so tired. Meg Cabot is such a flaming liberal anyway that when her political beliefs rear their ugly head it is so cliche. Like a bad made for TV Disney movie where everyone hugs each other at the end. Go for Cassandra Clare instead. Her stuff is amazing. You laugh out loud, instead of just rolling your eyes. Save your eyes and your credits.

Airhead is a good title for this vacuous series

It was a solid end to the series, but I'm still a bit disappointed by it. The first book was great. The second book was still good, but not amazing. The third is just kinda meh to me. This trilogy could have just been a book and a sequel. Half the book was just sitting, hanging around her ex boyfriend's house being a "hostage". It could have been so much better. It was a bit of a letdown. I "read" this on audible and I have to say that the narrator was also pretty terrible. I am happy to finally close the door to this series. Maybe, I am just too old for YA books now that I am in my mid to late twenties with a child of my own. I still thought the book was okay, but nothing like the first one. I wish that I would have finished this in my younger years rather than getting around to it now. I probably would have enjoyed it more.
