The first thing I noticed when I played it over my car’s audio system during a road trip was that the bass was excessively high. I had to modify my radio's sound settings just to make it listenable - something I’ve never had to do with any other Audible titles. Whether this is a mixing issue or something related to the voice actor, I’m not entirely sure. What I do know is that it was genuinely difficult to hear and comprehend over road noise without cranking the volume and tinkering with EQ settings. For reference, I drive a Lexus ES with a high-quality sound system, so it’s certainly not a hardware issue on my end.
The other miss is the frequent references to diagrams and visuals, yet no accompanying materials are provided (at least that I could find). In comparison, many other Audible titles I’ve purchased include downloadable reference PDFs: “The AI Edge” by Jeb Blount comes to mind.
Audio quality and lack of supplemental materials aside, this book is absolutely worth the time investment. The content itself delivers powerful insights that every strategic seller should absorb.
