Guy Finley often explicitly invites his listeners to relax, but relaxation is also a natural byproduct of listening to the self-realization guru's soothing voice. In Seven Powers, Finley tells a short story that exemplifies some key deficits in human psychology. He steers listeners away from judging others, pitying themselves, depression, suffering, and stress by teaching them how "pressure is a trick of the mind". In waking up to Finley's wise, well-calibrated voice, listeners might just wake up to the joy of the present moment. I have been an Audible subscriber for almost three years and this is my first review. I felt compelled to review Finley's work because I have purchased many titles in this genre in the past, many of which were excellent, but this is the first that felt like it could make a difference in my life. I have since purchased Finley's Secrets of Being Unstoppable (also excellent) and several of his books. Finley is a master of making a complex subject understandable. Due to the lack of reviews I had been reluctant to purchase his works in the past...Don't make the same mistake I did, if you are looking for material that can change your life buy Finley and listen with an open mind.
