RPE has been my favorite author ever since I read the Christmas Box, many years ago. He has a way of touching deep inside your heart! This collection of stories each was the best read. I actually had to stop in the middle of the book and take a few days to stop crying. I didn’t want it to end. That is really how each of his books leave me. He has been so honest with all his struggles and always finds a way to be the most caring person. I have read all his books.

There were several wonderful virtues expounded by the author, by which all people can be benefited. The stories were great and I loved getting to know Richard Paul Evans and his family.

This book is amazing! It’s full of raw, down to earth, yet inspiring stories from the author’s life that shaped his life. His stories have shaped my life too. It’s a must read! I plan on giving this book away as gifts and referring to the stories often. After listening to the book, go buy the real book and share it with your friends & family.

What a wonderful storyteller! I often wondered if people or parts of his life ended up in his books! Great narration as well. I've always been a fan of his and even more so now!!

For me I liked the scenarios, but I’d prefer a story book. However, there were a lot of good lessons and stories. Evan is an excellent writer and story teller. I would recommend this to others.

A few nice stories, a little too pithy at times, and even a bit political moralizing at times with things like the family cow being pushed over a cliff to teach reaching higher. A Hallmark book if that’s your thing.
