This was a good book. Aleks had a plan when he "met" Olivia at the airport during a delayed flight. He had his own agenda. She could be really funny but in how she reacted when she spilled a beverage, which happened often. She was so clumsy. Aleks, on the other hand, could be as cold as ice, even to his mother (but I kind of understand why). Olivia's family was very close so I understood why she wanted to protect her brother from the Bratva. Unfortunately, she really did not understand that things were not necessarily as she thought. Lilly Drake and Xander Marceaux did a great job with the narration. I am looking forward to book 2.

I would definitely recommend this read. Fox did a great job with the character development. The narrators were on point. Sexy, sweet, and sinful. Brilliant!!

I loved this book! It wasn’t too long, the narrators were great and so was the story! It was exciting, and just enough time was spent on each aspect of the story line. And the end?? It’s a Cliff (obviously, this is part of a duet) but i can’t wait to go on to book 2!

Cliffhanger is all I can say. 😩 I was similar engaged in this book I didn’t wanna stop listening. Love the Narrator’s they were perfect for roles. Can’t wait to pick up with book two. I just know it’s gonna be juicy. I wonder what Alex will do to his mother 🫣

I enjoyed this story, and the narrators did a wonderful job.

There were some things that really distracted me at times. One of the things that bugged me was the way he kept saying "My Bratva". There were really no scenes that would lead you to believe that this man was the head of a criminal organization. You could have easily called him the head of a corporation. Also, the title Don is not Russian, and it seemed weird that they kept calling him the Don of the Bratva.

I still enjoyed the story, If these types of details don't bother you, it's definitely worth the credit.
