New York Times bestselling authors Andrews & Wilson bring listeners another heart-stopping thriller in Sons of Valor IV: False Flag.
A murder in the Royal House of Saud, a secret alliance between two powerful rivals, and a race to upend the balance of power in the Middle East....
Lieutenant Keith “Chunk” Redman is no stranger to uncertainty. It’s what they train for in the Tier One. But when President Kelso Jarvis tells Gold Squadron the shocking news—that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia has been murdered, the King is missing, and the House of Saud has framed two Mossad agents—it’s clear the Middle East has become a powder keg just waiting to explode.
To get to the bottom of it, Gold Squadron must split up: Chunk leading a team of Israeli operatives; sniper Saw taking the helm of Gold; while intel analyst Whitney Watts heads into the belly of the beast itself, the Royal Palace in Saudi Arabia, where she must risk her life to uncover the truth about the Crown Prince’s murder.
Meanwhile, unseen by any of them, new alliances are forming orchestrated by a VEVAK operative who spent decades working in deep cover to unsettle the balance of power. Soon it’s a race against time to find the truth, and stop a false flag operation that threatens the very existence of Israel itself.

The action, adventure, and thrills hit hard from beginning to end, never slowing down. From intense battles to heartpounding chases, the pace keeps you glued to every page. Each chapter delivers a rush that doesn’t quit.
The dramatic pauses add suspense, making the emotional moments stand out amid the action. The plot, set in today’s world, feels real and believable. Andrews and Wilson craft a story that could easily fit into current events.
Their research into military operations, technology, and global politics makes the book feel authentic. This hard work creates a story that’s both exciting and realistic, honoring our troops, country, faith, and family with pride.
I hope one day we get to see a screen adaptation

Edited after I finished the audiobook: I was looking forward to a continuation of the characters, but this felt like the first three books, in terms of character development, never happened; as if this was a different cast of characters and the antagonists were the stars. The different references to fathers completely missed the fact that Spence must be a new father by this book. Also, nothing about the "drinks with Bowman" Chunk must have already had. Both would have led to character growth. And, while I'm a fan of Chunk and Watts, the ending was absolutely not where the first three books led. There's no way the last minute or two of the book would have happened in front of Bowman, regardless of how upset Chunk was. About an hour in, I began to wonder about ChatGPT's role in this one. There were multiple times when the same phrasing was used twice in one paragraph, a basic writing no-no. Perhaps they had a crappy editor. I'm still a fan, but was disappointed.
Keep your notes from book to book

Loved Whitney having an expanded story line, but wanted more of Chunk. And wanted less of the silly romance teasers.
Loved the story melding into global politics in July 2025, with all the current war in the middle east. (wait, no free airplane for Kelso!).
Killing off a team member felt at once predictable and unnecessary...I read the opening scene at the race track and wondered who it was going to be.
And, I hope we meet the Princess Ambassador again.
