If there's one thing that Bridgette Reynolds has learned recently, it's that the perfect shoes, the perfect hair, and the perfect dress do not make for the perfect proposal. In fact, sometimes they make for the not-so-perfect breakup. Now, Bridgette must do everything in her power to win Adam back. She knows they are meant to be. And nothing will stand in her way - not her friends, not her grandmother, not even the fact that Adam is now engaged to Serene after a whirlwind romance.
Focused on her plan to win Adam back, Bridgette isn't expecting Ian - her college best friend, her love, her big regret - to come back into her life. They sink back into their comfortable friendship as if no time has passed at all, making Bridgette start to question her feelings for Adam. But Ian has a few secrets of his own...secrets that could shatter their friendship once and for all. Bridgette has to make some major decisions - should she speak now? Or forever hold her peace?

The female protagonist made me so angry with her fickleness. She was not likeable. The excessive clothing descriptions were too much for me. The ending was predictable!
The narration was kind of so-so. The accents were not consistent.

Riveting, Funny, BlondeWhat other book might you compare Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace to and why?
I can't think of a book to compare it to; however, the beginning reminds me so much of the movie, "Legally Blonde". The heroine going to meet her boyfriend, expecting him to propose. Very funny!Which scene was your favorite?
When Bridgette shows up to stop Adam's wedding and all hell breaks loose. I could not stop laughing! Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely. This is a light, fun and entertaining story with all sorts of boy drama. It has multiple plot twists and is genuinely surprising in many places without taking itself too seriously. This story is sure to lighten up your winter funk. What did you like best about this story?
I liked that this story reminded me of late nights talking over boy troubles with my sisters. First Bridgett is obsessed with Adam. Then she is consumed with Ian while simultaneously trying to figure out what to do about Justin. It has a great gossip session feel. What does Lara Asmundson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She has a light, animated voice that makes the story fun. She brings a very girly feel to the narration. If you could take any character from Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace out to dinner, who would it be and why?
I would take Carla (Bridgette's ex-future mother-in-law) out to lunch because she is incredibly entertaining and has a fabulous accent.Any additional comments?
This book is relatively clean. No foul language or graphic sex scenes. I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.Boy Trouble.
