Overview of this book is this - a homicide worked by relationship phobic detectives who enjoyed a sex club relationship, tossed with Italian parents who are attempting to settle into a Hawaiian retirement.

The narrator was good, she handled accents very well and was appropriately enthusiastic as she read, but I expected more after reading the reviews - I trust reviews.

If you are thinking of listening to this book, you'll find it entertaining, it was just not enough for me.

Wow, I loved this! Oh, can there please be more Marcella??!! Now I can't wait to start the Paradise Crime Series again to get more Marcella and Marcus!

Too much romance resistance. Story just didn't keep interest,too much detailing. Need to get on with the investigation and not describe every little thing.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes!! Toby Neal's stories are always compelling, but adding the Voice of Sara H. to the mix makes the audiobook something really special!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I really liked this story a lot and the tension of Marcella's story - the struggle of her work and personal life. I loved learning more about her, her background, and family. She is an interesting woman to know. As with all of Neal's books, the mystery has unexpected twists and turns.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Although it is a companion to Lei Crime, it was enough of a different type of a story that it really kept me intrigued. I was done with it fairly quickly -- didn't want to turn off my iPhone!

An exciting story with a lot of drama and suspense. The explicit sex was more than I usually read but all in all that part turned into a love story.

What a wonderful story!!! I have followed Toby Neal’s books for the last year and have read most all of what she wrote. I love her stories and telling us about Hawaii. That is the only way I will ever get there and I truly enjoy the descriptions of the islands. I am hoping Toby decides to follow Lei, Michael, their two children, Sophie, Jake, Marcella and her husband and son in more books to the series. I had to listen to one book but read it and all the others. Cannot get my fill of Toby’s writing!!!

I can't get enough of Toby Neal's stories narrated by Sara Malia Hatfield! Classic Neal crime novel, STOLEN IN PARADISE is FBI Special Agent Marcella Scott's vehicle sans best friend, Lei Texeira of the Lei Crime Series. In addition to a murder case involving a top secret formula & dead bodies, I loved learning more about Marcella's relationship with hunky HPD Detective Marcus Kamuela---hot, hot, HOT! Sara has the most amazing talent for a variety of voices and the lyrical dialect of the islands.
