I like Hannah best when she is in her bakery. Outside she gets a bit trite for my taste. If she is this wonderful person that everyone likes, she should be that.

There is a long build up to the action. But still a good plot.

This author is one that I use when I just want a little light reading. The character are a lot of fun as they develop. Having grown up in that area, I can relate to many parts of the book. Try the recipies!!! When I worked as a bookseller and talked about this book to my customers, very often they would talk about the excellent results they had while using the recipies. There sleuthing is very simple, and usually solve the case in the first half of the book, but the surrounding story keep the book moving along to the end.

Easy to follow, a great story line and the characters do believable for a small town like Lake Eden. Can't wait to get started on the next book in the series.
