I read this book right after I read the starlight witch, and they are basically the same story but slightly different. It’s not a bad book, cute and I like females being empowered! Just not super deep.
If you’re looking for a breezy read I would recommend this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this first in a new series. Keira Blackwood has written an excellent first installment in her new series. The characters are well developed and soon seem more like friends than mere characters. Traci Odom, as always gave a stellar performance. I highly recommend this book/audiobook to cozy mystery fans.

Come on, 40vyear Olds do mot leave a marriage without their clothes, shoes, jackets/coats, linens and furniture. Even kids just starting out have clothes, shoes, coats and linen.

The mystery is wonderful

I wasn’t so sure about this series at first, but I’m so glad I stayed with it. It’s so unique, not the same old tropes that have been dragged out a hundred times. It’s a fun, easy listen, the narrator is great, she manages different voices that add to the story without being too overt and distracting. No swearing, sex is mentioned but not described in cringy detail. Stay with the series until the very end, it’s worth it.

Remi was annoying and sarcastic. Molly was a bit crotchety. Jen was always upbeat even in the strangest situations.
