Justin hates his new home, his new school, and his new life. Staying with his Mom after his parents divorced, Justin tries to make the best of things, dodging the bullies and exploring the woods near his home.
When he finds a rusty sword and a ruby pendant, Justin doesn't immediately make the connection between them and the crazy dreams he's been having. But soon he realizes that the new world he travels to when he's asleep is more than just a dream - its reality, and he's got a mission he needs to complete.
In the Hidden Realm, Justin finds himself battling the Shadows, alongside elves, dwarves, centaurs, and lycanthropes. Finding himself becoming more and more immersed in his new reality, Justin struggles to fulfill his destiny knowing that this quest is going to be a dangerous one.

Would you consider the audio edition of Sword of Nights Fall to be better than the print version?
The book was brilliant but William Turbett breathed life in to the story and helped create JT Bishop's world and characters .He had me hooked and honestly I could probably listen to him read the phone book but luckily he had this fantastic world to bring to life instead. So I would say a resounding yes to the audiobook having a quality to it that cant be created on a page alone. The book was short and I found myself wanting more .I really enjoyed listening to Justin realizing his destiny and meting creatures of myth and legend : elves, dwarves, centaurs, and lycanthropes. It was a delicious morsel of YA fantasy.I'm excited to listen to book two in the series.Any additional comments?
I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This review is my honest opinion.Battling the Shadows with creatures of Myth&Ledgen

“Sword Of Nights Fall” has a lot of familiar elements to it if you read a lot of books in this genre, young adult or otherwise. Over all, I enjoyed the story, but it just didn’t grab me enough to look for the next installment. I think that was because there are some continuity issues in the story that should have been caught and fixed. Even more important, Justin’s character wasn’t that believable to me as a sixteen-year-old boy. He comes off as a much younger, more naive kid than a teenager would have in the story. Still, I don’t feel like I wasted my time with this story. I’m just not compelled to go any further with it.
Finally, this audio book was provided by the author at no cost in exchange for an honest review courtesy of Audio Book Boom.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes, For what it is, It's not a waste of time.Any additional comments?
First, to get it out of the way, I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. That said, for what's there, its a good story. My only real complaint is its too thin. This could be truly great if the author fleshed it out. What could be an epic is little more than a short story. Still it is worth the time to listen to.Could have been so much more

Is there anything you would change about this book?
You need to take a lot on faith with this book, there's not a lot of explanation on why things work the way they do, you just have to accept it. I'd prefer a longer book that has more of an explanation behind it.Did William Turbett do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes, for the most part. The character voices are good, but the overall recording quality could use some work. There are obvious patches where sections have been re-recorded and spliced in, when this has been done there's a clear difference in the sound quality and volume. I found this a bit jarring. Was Sword of Nights Fall worth the listening time?
Kind of, it was interesting and showed potential but I'm not going to be getting the rest of the parts since it will probably still have a lack of explanation.Any additional comments?
This book would suit a young adult audience, although parental guidance should be used due to the violence.Note: This book was provided free by the author/narrator/publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.
