My name is Talon Shaw and I am the alpha of a pride of black panthers. My cat finds his mate in a human female and she wants a date! Panthers don’t date...we mate.

Before my plans fall into place to court the woman who is destined to be my mate, one of my pride is taken and held for ransom.

I have been waiting for this series to be released on audio for a long time and I was not disappointed. 😍
The story is about Talon and his pride of panther shifters being accidentally outed. During all this Talon finds his human mate Liberty.
Liberty and her sister Nova own the local bar where the Panthers hangout.
Between a shifter panther who doesn’t know how to date and the kidnapping of one of his pride and the knowledge that someone is tracking his mate....makes for an interesting and fun story.
Did I mention the sex? WoW
Roberto Scarlato did an amazing job narration of this story!
Cannot wait until the rest of the series is added to the audio family.

I love this entire series. I’d never considered any other shifter books beyond werewolves until I found this one. It became a favorite. I love all the characters. The author gives enough detail to where I feel like I can picture all the places and some of the faces. Though I think all the guardians look like massive muscle bound Gods in my head, and I’m not mad at that :)
The narration is great for the male parts, though I wish they’d used a female counterpart for the Liberty and Nova’s voices. The male version of the female voice was not great, but great as Talon.
I really hope the rest of the series becomes available on this app so I can purchase all of them.

I loved their first book in a series, but I’m disappointed the rest aren’t available in audio. I hope the author will fix that soon. I prefer audio, as I’m an editor and can’t seem to turn that off to just enjoy a book for fun. When I read, I’m too aware of mistakes and typos. In audio books, I seldom notice such things. I liked the characters, especially the heroine. The reader has a great voice full of emotion.

Love Them Shifters

You can tell this author took time into her world building. The characters, the area that surrounds them, everything in the story. I'm fairly new to shifter pnr, but I will definitely be reading more.

Panther Pride

I enjoyed all aspects of this book. The storyline has humor, action, romance, and heat. The characters are very likeable with distinctly different personalities. The narration was was very entertaining and I recommend giving it a try.
