Acerca de esta escucha

Tears of a Black Man is a raw, powerful poetry collection drawn from the real-life experiences of author Lawrence McLendon. These aren’t just poems—they're confessions, reflections, and scars. From false accusations and prison time to broken love, fatherhood, and the daily battles of being a Black man in America, Lawrence bares it all with brutal honesty and grace.
Every verse is a testimony of survival. Of standing tall after being knocked down. Of carrying invisible weights while trying to be seen, heard, and understood.
This book is for anyone who's ever felt invisible, misunderstood, or silenced by pain.
Whether you're searching for healing, resonance, or a voice that speaks to your own struggles, Tears of a Black Man is a mirror for the wounded—and a reminder that even the stained can still rise.*

I like to read poetry and books that show the world through different perspectives than my own and this book really fit the bill. however, at the end, the emotions that you expressed are very relatable and what happened to you could have happened to anyone regardless of their background. so whether knowing it or not, you talked about things that were very different from many people's perspective, but you felt feelings that were the same. excellent book.
