I love the storyline. The plot of the first half was great. The plot of the second half was very well done. The storyline moved and didn't slow down due to lengthy descriptions or backstop. Narrator just could not have been better. I think he was perfect for this story. Fantastic.

the book starts off a bit slow but boy does it become amazing ! kept me wondering what was gonna happen next. I'm ready for book 2 I hope it comes out super fast

First, thx to the author for allowing this novel to be “free to listen”.
Next, so happy I started listening.
There are sooo many alien/apocalypse stories out there it’s hard to find something unique.
This is def unique and very well done.
Listened in one sitting and am now on to the next one in this series.
Narrator is awesome as well!

Started Arrival because Kafer was narrating. The book starts slow. Once it got going I could not stop listening.

Formulaic and dull. Rehash of concepts from much better stories. Some really weak plot twists. Painful to get through. Won’t finish the series. I tried to get through this book but quit with 30 minutes left.

I cannot even get into the beginning 5:00 or 6:00 chapters the monotone of the narrator just threw everything off I could not follow

I believe the authors goal was to see how many “$10” words he could string together in a sentence. He should concentrate more on an entertaining story than trying to impress people with his vocabulary.

In addition, the narration was very flat.
