So, what exactly is a robot? And what makes robotics such an exciting, multidisciplinary, and rapidly growing field?
What is a Robot?
In its simplest form, a robot is a machine that can sense, think (in a basic way), and act. It doesn’t have to be humanoid, speak in a monotone, or even walk upright like you might see in movies. Many of the most useful robots look nothing like humans.
