As the AI movement progresses, the truth as to why the pontiff is being attacked becomes alarming. Within the Vatican are acolytes of the Black Monk, traitors who would turn against the pope so that another, under the Black Monk’s power, can usurp the papal throne.
With the papacy at risk, Isaiah must navigate his team of Vatican Knights across treacherous terrain to breach the Black Monk’s hidden stronghold deep within the Făgăraș Mountains. The stakes are high, the cost even more so. Can Isaiah lead his team against the man responsible for the murder of Kimball Hayden? Can they survive the constant and overwhelming threat of the Black Monk, a man who knows their every move?
