Wow, what a fantastic audiobook! "The Blockchain Blueprint" totally opened my eyes to this crypto-technology. As someone who was pretty clueless about blockchain before, I love how the narrator broke down complex ideas into bite-sized pieces I could actually understand. The best part? It didn't feel like a dry textbook at all! I caught myself saying, "Oh, that's what it means!" so many times. Super excited that this is just book one of three – I've already pre-ordered the next one! If you're curious about blockchain but feel intimidated, trust me, this is the perfect starting point. The examples are super relatable, and I actually found myself explaining blockchain to my friends at dinner last night. Definitely worth the listen!

As someone who has been involved in crypto and defi since 2019, I have read a few books and watched hundreds of hours of videos regarding crypto. In the few books I have read, I was only given an elementary level of education in regards to the practical applications and mechanics of how the blockchain actually works.

This book takes a deeper dive into the core of blockchain technology without getting too technical. Even though I have been a part of the financial aspects of blockchain for the past 4+ years, I learned new things about how blockchain works, such as Byzantine Fault Tolerance. I also learned about exactly how the blockchain forms a "chain" through the reference of Cryptographic Hash functions that makes it almost impossible to tamper with.

Besides speaking about cryptocurrency, it also gives examples of how blockchain technology can be applied in supply chain records/processes and identification (among others).

The only negative I have to say about this audiobook is that there are some parts that are clearly cut off due to errors (you can hear the clicker used to signify a break when going back to edit). Breaths are inconsistent where in some chapters they aren't noticeable and some they are very noticeable.

Overall this is a great audiobook for those looking to learn more about the blockchain outside of just cryptocurrency.

The Blockchain blueprint breaks down and explains the decentralized ledger system in layman's terms. It also explains how it is involved in technology, cryptocurrencies, and many other sectors. I was surprised by the influence on supply chain management, identity verification, and health care. The fact that it's not lengthy audio helps to absorb complex concepts for some in a shortened version.

The blockchain is not one of the easiest topics to discuss because it is so new and so out of what we are used to. I loved how this book broke it down so that you can understand to a good enough level what entails the decentralized database that's the blockchain. I loved every part of it. It's educative without being overwhelming.

This book is a very comprehensive introduction to blockchain. If you just getting started to learn about blockchain, you might feel it's late, or you are worried of being left out on this possibly the biggest gold rush of the century. I have to admit, I do feel somewhat of that. Especially given the news about bitcoin and the halfing of it, and the sudden raise of the value. I don't know, I might got a bit of fomo - fear of missing out. So I was trying to find some information about blockchain. But the problem is, many blockchain beginner level books are from a few years back, when the topic of blockchain, NFT, bitcoin was like a new kid on the block. However given this few years gone by, many things changed in the industry. How beginner starts to learn about these topics are different from a few years back. And this book brought me some fresh knowledge, with the new trends in it. It's never too late to start. Especially if you also believe it like I do that this is possibly the biggest opporutnity of the century.

While I have been very interested in Crypto and have been an avid investor in the stock market, I never fully understood what Blockchain technology was or how it worked. The author does a really good job at explaining to us what it is , as well as explaining other uses and applications for this technology. This is the first book I have listened to that successfully does that. Kudos to Deedee Ash.
