I can’t recommend this book enough. So well researched. So insightful and recreated as if the author was there.

This is a wonderful book narrated very well. I am not from the US and have limited knowledge and interest in rowing but the story was utterly absorbing. The description of the olympic race itself was so well written that I was completely engaged and feeling the emotiion as if I was there watching it. One of the best reads in months.
