This love story is twenty years in the making for Ian and Lacy. One is trying to find himself and one is trying to help a friend but sparks fly and magic is in the air. The narrator does a great job.

The Christmas Cottage was a really enjoyable story about two people that were family friends who find love again while preparing a cottage for Ian's sister. Things will start to heat up between Lacey and Ian. Will it be enough to stay together and realize it's true love? The audio and narration was very well done.

I've been listening on Audible for about 2 months and this book has been my favorite. I smiled as I listened and loved the story. The narrator was very skilled too.

I very much enjoyed this audio book. The chemistry between the characters was developed greatly. The fairytale magic weaved into the book made things seem more romantic.

I don't like the whiny little sister role of Ava. She's just too whiny and wrapped up in herself. It's good that she wasn't the main character. Sometimes the voices were too "little girl" sounding for grown women, but all in all the story was pretty good

Would you listen to The Christmas Cottage again? Why?

I really liked this story and wouldn't mind listening to it again next year around Christmas!! I loved the characters and the story line. The possibility of a Magical Cottage seems sweet regardless if it is true or a an old family folk tale!

Which scene was your favorite?

I really loved the time that was spent in the cottage and decorating for Christmas. All the emotions and feelings came to the surface and it seemed like it was the perfect setting for Lacey's long dream romance with her long time crush, Ean.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I would have loved to listen to this book in one sitting, however with listening to it right on Christmas, time didn't allow for it to happen.

You will love this book! It's an easy listen and will make you smile and laugh. I purchased Book 2 and cannot wait to listen to the story continue.

was nothing special. a lot of fluff and eye rolling moments, but it passed the time. would have been disappointed if I'd had to pay for this one.

This was an okay Christmas romance. It was predictable, but had cute moments and it was an easy listen.
Lacey has liked her best friend's older brother Ian since she was a teenager. She told him how she felt and was shut down. Since then, she's avoided him like the plague, but when her friend gets married, she has to face Ian again. I had hoped the part where Lacey and Ian were trapped together in the cottage would last longer, I like that plot line. Lacey's friend was kind of annoying, she was rude to Lacey when she found out she liked Ian and then was wishy washy about getting married.
Overall it was kind of sweet and the narrator did a fine job.
