Acerca de esta escucha
Stephanie doesn’t believe in fate, true love, or living happily ever after. She’s content enough being married to Matt. But then she meets Jamie, who understands her more than anyone else ever has.
Jamie’s married to his childhood sweetheart and believes in everything Stephanie doesn’t. He’s happy with Helen. So why does he have such a strong connection with Stephanie? When Stephanie and Jamie meet one fateful weekend in 2006, it sparks a tumultuous relationship that spans over a decade. The day they meet changes everything....
Ten years, two people, and one epic love story reveal what happens when you meet your soulmate after you're already engaged to someone else.

I saw the ending coming half-way through the book. This was while I was still considering how I felt about the questionable actions from the characters.
Again, I enjoyed the writing style and would try something from this author again, but the overall story in The Day We Met wasn't very satisfying.

Roxie Cooper is a new author to watch. Her understanding of people and their motives is fantastic. This novel covers a great deal of time in a relatively short book, but, it’s done so well it feels seamless. The characters have flaws and are in the throes of an extramarital affair for most of the novel, but, the reader is drawn to love them, flaws and all. Life is more complicated than winning and losing, right and wrong, and Cooper captures that complexity and the yearning to be loved for who we really are with aplomb.
I do my best to avoid books that make me sob buckets of tears, but, this one, that snuck past my radar, was very worth it. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
A thoughtful love story with characters that seep into your heart
