This is narrated by virtual voice, which I was not a fan of. Otherwise I loved the book

The title and synopsis for The Deadbeat Next Door is what compelled me to read it, but I opted for the audio version. The virtual voice narration was neither great nor too bad. Some glitches and words fell flat here and there, but mostly it was ok because the story itself was immensely entertaining, and all of the characters were memorable and enjoyable. I smiled from ear-to-ear, and did I forget to mention the spice level 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️?!

If you like a great spin on small town enemy-to-lovers, fake fiancés, supportive friends, nosy neighbors, kids, misunderstandings and lots more, this one is for you. I took a chance on this author, and now I want to go right in to the next book in this series. It was delightful!
