Loki Renard
He’s hot. He’s deadly. And he’s hunting me.
Rath K’zar is an alien bounty hunter - the best in the universe. I’m his admin assistant. I send him his bounties, and I process his payments. I know him better than anybody. He doesn’t know I exist.
I have dreamed about him every night for months. You could call it a crush, or a fixation, or maybe an obsession. Whatever. I never thought it would amount to anything. Then there was a misunderstanding at work...
I became the galaxy’s most wanted overnight. Now he’s hunting me. Nobody escapes Rath K’zar. He’s merciless. He doesn’t care about innocence. He cares about the bounty. And my name is on his list.

right over his movie and everything. No shame.
Honestly I was a bit surprised the sex scenes weren't better-dirtier, longer, kinkier, etc etc.. This story could have been so much more. It was a bit confusing in a few places. The story ended way to fast. It just felt like every chapter could have held twice the details. I'm hoping that the rest of the series( not on audible 😭!) will make up for the short story.
Even if alien sex books aren't your thing, I strongly advise giving this book a chance. If your a sci-fi lover looking for something new. Seriously buy this book! The world build is vivid and consuming. You really feel how the character feels and can imagine yourself being in that system. The fear and horror of “waking up”and suddenly being on the outside of the system.
The characters were interesting and surprisingly relatable. The FMC had some serious character growth. And there was a very lovely sweet feels between them. This was an area that seemed a bit abrupt or possibly missing something. Def think that's a result of the short story length. It's actually amazing the story works at all without a longer plot. Don't let that put you off though. It's unfortunate it's a bit short, causing some almost insta type situations. But it doesn't detract from the overall plot. It ends up being a really interesting good book- rather than omfg best sci-fi EPIC freaking romance EVER!!🤷♀️
Just get the book already!! You like alien smut? Get it. Sci-fi lover? Get the book! Fan of Loki Renard?- well you def need to get it! then join me in writing her a letter begging her to remake this book into a crazy full length space opera!
This was more a ramble than a review..def not my best work lol. The point is the book is great. You should definitely buy it, despite knowing the rage your goi g to feel!! At the end when your sexy sci-fi gets cut short and there's no next audiobook!!!
AMAZING setting/ world build!!

The narration was ok. I've heard better, but they were fine to me. I do think some people would be put off by Kai's cadence or Wen's tone so maybe listen to the sample first to get an idea. As far as dual narration, I'm not sure why they bothered because the majority of the book is voiced by Kai Kennicot. There are only 2 or 3 very short chapters from Rath's point of view so it was almost jarring when Wen's voice began narrating. Seriously, I think he voiced less than an hour of this short book so it was an odd choice to do dual narration.
Short and good
