I throughly enjoy this book. There are so many great parts of this book but the one that stands out the most is his relationship with his mom. Hurts of the past can rob us of our future by impacting our peace. When he talked about throwing jabs. We throw those verbal jabs because we are hurting. I did this to my fiancé and others. Moving forward I will also try hard to not do this. My fiancé is no longer here, he died in 2017 but others are still around that I can be more forgiving of. Such an amazing book.

Inspiring - even to non-athletes like myself. Kevin's ability to convert vulnerability into a powerful story is a testament to his character and skills as a storyteller. I thoroughly enjoyed his insights and thought-provoking anecdotes that challenged me in all the right ways.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who's feeling a little uncertain about their path and life journey.

I especially enjoyed the interview at the end with the narrator, Dru Hepkins and the author, Kevin McLemore.

Insightful, thought-provoking, and inspiring read.

An exceptional read with humility and power in every word. I cried, I laughed out loud I even dreamed as I was woke. I saw my pass, my present and my future as each chapter went on.
