Really enjoyed our favorite detective as he navigates the deadly mystery while regaining his family. It was good to see this side of him. Hope Alice and their son will be in more of the detective series and that we see their love and bond grow stronger.

Wonderful mystery

It was a good listen but I get so frustrated throughout the series that the officers involved don't carry basic gear with them. You think after the first encounters, they'd learned to have a pair of Wellingtons in their Trunks, Along with an all weather jacket maybe a baton, pepper spray and definitely a big flashlight It's just amazing that they don't have such things in "go bag" or small duffel bag in their car trunk... I also don't enjoy the extremely graphic descriptions of the victims murders... It makes it almost a horror story rather than a detective mystery. But i'm certain a lot of people enjoy it.
