Acerca de esta escucha
What is the last thing you remember?
When a mysterious phenomenon envelops the earth, turning humans into monsters; awakening in a strange new world and in an even stranger new body, is bound to leave one's mind in tatters.
Left with nothing but a set of initials for a name and the strange photo of a mysterious girl, LJ can only hope to set out in search of what has become of civilisation. Of course, that would be easier if he still had thumbs, lacked a tail, and didn't walk on all fours.
As far as he can remember, that is not how humans are supposed to work. But if one thing is certain in the new future, It's when the first monster walks the earth, the last humans are already gone.

despite being turned into strange, animalistic creatures, this hardly affects any of the characters in any significant way, besides the initial body horror of it all. we're told the creatures possess superior senses to humans, but through the story we're never shown that. for all there descriptions, the creatures see, hear, smell, feel, even emote, just the same as any human would. they accomplish nearly everything a human could, except driving, with little effort. there is so much wasted potential for body horror and even good drama because it never feels like their new bodies are anything other than a cosmetic for a otherwise human character.
big grips aside, prose was serviceable, characters were fine, maybe a hair too many though, plot was predictable, but narrativily done well. it's not revolutionary, but it was also free
