The Beautification Committee has a few tricks up its devious sleeve where Jax and Joey are concerned. Tricks that will either leave the past in the past or ensure these two lovebirds can never be in the same room again.

Lucy Score has quickly become my “go to” author for anything and everything romcom. Her writing style is captivating, her stories are sweet, funny, steamy and have all the feels!
This second chance love story of Jax and Joey was such a great read I could not put it down and read it in one sitting! And now I’ve listened to newly released audio in one afternoon. The narration by Pippa Jayne is phenomenal! Definitely recommend.

I liked this one a lot. It was poignant, sexy, sad, happy, & hopeful. Can’t ask for much more than that.

My favorite so far in this series

This is my favorite of the first 3 books in the series..though they are all good. Good message for men, as in ……..Don’t do significant things for your woman unless you have included her in the decision making process. The author felt this point was so important that she covered it at great length. While the sex scenes involving multiple simultaneous orgasms is a bit unrealistic, there’s a lot of romantic stuff that isn’t unrealistic. It occurs to me that young men and women should spend more time with quality romance authors like Lucy Score. It would give them some caring and sensible advice on how to treat the someone they hope to have as a lover and friend and significant other and :)

I’ve read the first few books in this series so naturally I had to hear how Joeys story ended. They are predictable but in the best way.

I appreciate the Livy Score ability to build a whole world around her characters. Makes you feel like you are stepping out of yours and into their. I hate plot holes in between the different books in a series. She must be a very meticulous woman because I have not caught any. It is easy to go from book one to three and not question things that don’t match up.

I like most of the story, but Jo's dad was WAY WRONG to jot apologize and in the end, Jax is a liar "I'll never make decisions about the future without you again" - then "SURPRISE! We're getting married in an hour!" I don't care that she's not super into planning - every woman wants certain things fir her wedding. I guarantee she wouldn't want to wear a dress he's already seen her in. Just very disappointing to see the character development/maturity completely reversed in a couple sentences.
Not to mention, it's just not reasonable for these men to keep grabbing the women and carrying them off like cavemen, basically kidnapping them. Kissing/touching without consent...

this book was so cute & great. the audiobook was awesome to listen too. read the 1st & 2nd book before this one tho!!!

I’ve read/listened to so many of Lucy’s books and they all never disappoint! This one really touched my heart and had me often wiping tears. Thank you for writing about love and family that many of us can only imagine exists!
