It was so painful to listen to. Mostly because every time they wanted to say the word Polish as in the country or the nationality of a Polish person. They use the word polish, same spelling completely different meaning. As in I’m going to polish the furniture and this is why AI is never going to be able to take over all the jobs. How in heavens is this still up on Audible when literally it is painful to listen to.

The virtual voice is horrible

The performance of this story is so disconcerting. It is really weird to listen to someone joyfully describe horrific events. I realize this was a virtual AI performance, but someone should’ve listened to it before they posted it. Example: When it was gleefully exclaimed that they actually threw up from the horrid smell, I think the tone is way off. Saying you threw up it’s definitely something that can be an exclamatory statement however it’s usually not exclaimed in a positive way. This will be a book that I will read on my own because the story is good, but the virtual performance on the other hand, not so much. I don’t know who’s error this was, but the author was done a great disservice.
