I read a lot of LitRPG and I often times pick titles with a good number of reviews as well as a high rating, this book I almost didn’t check out because of the low number of reviews despite the high rating, I’m so glad I took the chance. Great story, great performance and the magic system is interesting. I like the characters and I can’t wait to start the next book!

It is a very good story. The main character is very believable and the side characters are also very believable. My only complaint really is it is much too short.

Nice break from so many littpg stories that seems to copy DCC (heavily). Although I prefer more listening hours, it's different enough to follow for now.

I’ve enjoyed all of MA Rothman books but waited to try plainswalker. I think the book cover is what kept me away because I’m not usually a lord of the rings fantasy book reader. This one was fantasy with a twist. I really enjoyed it and look forward to book two in the series.
