Of the many books I've read of Seth's, The Practice is easily the one I would share with anyone. The mindset and ideas are illustrated through short truisms. This makes it easy to engage in the mindset he encourages you to develop. If you are looking to get better in your respective career, hobby or skill this is the place to start or start again.

look, I like Seth godin. A lot of his stuff is repetitive. But I attribute that to the fact that he is such a prolific writer. this book is one of his best in my opinion. if you are someone who creates, either by writing, making music, art, etc then this book is for you and you will enjoy it.

Thank you - I listen/I read, I don’t write reviews … but this is a must. I am a creative and have taught the creative process for years. Creatives are always searching & researching. I have read many Creative Practice books, but this one compiles them all. … Touches on Twayla Tharp to Julia Cameron to Michael Michalko. I will listen to this again. Seth .. It outlines in simple ways HOW Brilliant people BECOME Brilliant, acknowledging that no one is “born with it” and that we each CHOOSE our destiny by what we choose to PRACTICE and engage in day after day.

Seth can seldom go wrong in inspiring you to do the art you always wanted. He gives you permission without making you follow a formula, and opens your eyes to the reality that you will only be an artist when you dedicate to the practice and ship your work.
