I have a six year-old who loves these stories. She routinely loves to retell the stories to me and especially funny parts; so there is good humor in these. I've listened with her and enjoyed the stories. I recommend this series.

Audio warning... this collection does not divide and label the books. There are chapter breaks, but the books run right into each other. It makes it very hard to find an individual book.

I have been listening to this audio collection with my two 8yr old boys and we all loved it. We keep going back to listen to it over and over. The characters are so vivid and such great stories. It is wholesome yet with lots of adventure.

My 5 year old says this about the books, "I like that Ramona does funny things, and in the last one, she pulls her baby sister out of the cat condo." This collection is great for the whole family.

I liked these books as a kid and I am excited to be able to share these with my kids. Audible makes it so easy for me to be able to prepare lunch and have this on so my kids can listen to the story on our Echo.

A family listen doesn't get any better than this. The narrator is perfect for the part, and that's to say nothing of the Ramona Quimby book series, which is really pretty darn fun and funny for kids and adults alike--and let's be honest: we all know how picky adults can be. These books are proving to be timeless despite, say, the cigarette-smoking dad whose daughters want so badly for him to quit his bad habit. (I know I know, no one dares even breathe the word cigarette in front of children anymore, but I also know that we parents still have bad habits that our children help us remember, habits easily likened to smoking. Lame how that works, isn't it.) Anyway, we can all listen to these books together in the car for hours; or "plug her in" to Audible so the six-year-old will take a longer bath; or take just one teeny-tiny night off of reading books together and instead just not fall asleep listening to these books together. Perfect, just perfect!

What did you love best about The Ramona Quimby Audio Collection?

My five year old daughter has listened to this audio collection multiple times (eight and counting) on car rides. I listened to these stories as a kid but was impressed to listen again to their emotional sensitivity and humor. We've had trouble with other audio books for young girls in which the central characters dismiss new experiences as "stupid" or which model a world view that is not kind to others. The Ramona stories are wonderfully insightful about what it is like to grow up as a sensitive kid. The narration is also great. This audio collection gets our family's highest recommendation.
