This book was written for the compassionate deep and open minded listener because it blows theories of time, soul, cognition, and the limits of love, right through the roof. She is gifted a house and a cat but has no memory of the person who gave them to her. From the moment she arrives, nothing seems exactly normal. Every room she discovers has feelings beyond its contents. The phenomena become more frequent and disturbing the longer she stays there. Then the nightmares start and reality begins to deteriorate. The cat who has become her companion is her only tenuous tether to reality. Question her own sanity, she fears she is becoming mentally incapable of caring for the cat and seeks refuge for him. It’s only through her concern for his well-being that she finds unorthodox help for him and inadvertently for herself so that she can safely re-live her own harrowing life, fulfill promises and realize all who she is and her very important role in womankind.
