Typical. Author got lazy after a while on the juicy parts. Not enough character development for me to get on board with such a whiney brat of a man. I think I could also just be burnt out on romance novels. Go ahead and read it.

So I'm on SL Scott's mailing list and got an email the other day saying how the book was available for free on Amazon. So I got the book. When I saw the audiobook was $7.49, I jumped at the chance to get it.

I would have preferred that Sebastian York had more chapters, but the story was wonderful and sad all at the same time. Stephanie Wyles did a great job narrating 95% of the book, but still worth it.

Absolutely loved the story. There was so much feeling and heartache. It was impossible not to be affected by the story. Can’t wait to hear the second book.

This is a good story but the end not so much. Also, for no reason the last chapter was repeated by 2 separate narrators. Odd.

Stephanie Wyles leaves a lot to be desired in her narration. I enjoyed the story, but seemed to force myself to listen.

This was a sweet rocker romance with likeable characters and an entertaining story. The angst and drama were relatively minor and there was no over-glamorization of the rocker lifestyle. These were two somewhat normal people trying to carry-on a somewhat normal relationship, despite Jack's crazy career expectations. I really enjoyed that these were characters that I could relate to and I look forward to more from this author. This was my first book from S.L. Scott.

On a trip to Vegas, Holliday meets Dalton/Johnny as he
pulls a trick on her. He's a famous Rock Star, but she
doesn't have a clue who he is.
They fall in love, schedules, jealously, loss gets in their way.
This is a fantastic book.

Thank you S.L. Scott for this series. You really told it like it is. Being a lead singer and female. The road was extremely harsh. It beats you up and the only good thing is when you step out on the stage and then anything that hurt you is forgotten. A quick shot or two and you are ready!! I could relate with the the books. Great job!!
