This book so was fantastic that I couldn’t stop listening until I was done!  I loved Micah’s and Sienna’s story!  Micah was so sweet trying to get Sienna to be with him, but she had been through a lot in her life so she was very cautious.  Micah’s family and Sienna’s sister were great characters in this book.  There were some funny moments along with romance and suspense.  You can’t help but fall in love with Micah and Sienna while listening to their story.  You will get your HEA, and will be left with a surprise ending for Ellie.  Now I can’t wait for that story to come out!!
Sarah and Gideon did a fantastic job on the narration.  They brought the characters to life with all the emotions and feelings they put into each of the characters.

This story captured my attention pretty quick, wondering how hard Sienna was going to make Micah work for her heart. With his persistence and a meddling little sister, Sienna finally gives in to a date giving her a glimpse into the true soul underneath the powerful exterior... and that window to his soul opens more when danger strikes and Micah has no intention of leaving her vulnerable...and yep her heart is definitely in jeopardy. Through the angst, danger, and suspense these two find their forever love. Narration brought the story to life from the pages.

Sienna's future is all about her finishing college and taking care of her younger sister to make their life for the better. Working at an exotic club, was not her plan, but it paid her bills.
She caught the eye of Micah, whose family owns the club.
She has no plans for a relationship at this time in her life.
He slowly breaks down her walls, and builds trust.
Danger, suspense, steamy romance had me captivated throughout this story.
Gideon Frost and Sarah Puckett narration is very good. Both performed with the instensity and emotions of each character

Another brilliant story by Nikki Ash. I listened to the second book in this series first. They do definitely go together like a continuation, but can also be enjoyed and understood on their own.

Sienna has no reason to trust anyone. Her mother is abusive. Her father is not in her life. The only light she has is her 15 year old sister, Ellie, protecting and providing for her, despite having to work hard to end’s meat and put her dreams of dance on the back burner. But the love between the sisters is beautiful and strong.

While dancing at her night job at Wonder Lust, she meets eyes with a business man whose gaze burns through her and their chemistry is intense.

I deeply enjoyed the moments between Micah and Sienna. From the steamy to the sweet, the patient and profound. The growth seemed natural and how they handled problems relatable. There was no misunderstanding plot where they explode, break up, and magically make up for the end. That was so refreshing! The conflicts in this story made sense.

And yes; Micah is rich, handsome, confident, and understanding. Hey! Some troupes stay the same for a good reason!

Since I read the second book first, it was nice to see a younger Micah. Teenage Ellie was a treat.

Both narrators did an incredible job bringing these two souls to life. I very much enjoyed their performances.

Mrs. Ash is a mistress of word and I always look forward to her works. This one dances.

What an incredible book from Nikki Ash. Sienna dreamed of becoming a ballerina. She put all of her dreams on hold to raise her sister. She had to become a stripper to pay for the bills. Micha is one of the owner of the club and several businesses around town. He usually never is attracted to any of the dancers. Until he saw Sienna for the first time. There better be another book. I can’t believe it just ended like that. Sarah Puckett and Gideon Frost did a fantastic job narrating.

I really enjoyed this book. I love the marriage of convenience trope. The way Micah fell first and didn't give up trying to get Sienna to give him a chance was perfect. At times she just annoyed me, but it was only because he was going above and beyond for her. Yet she still kept making excuses even though she wanted him. It is definitely worth th read. Can't wait for Ellie's (the sister) story.

The narration was so good. I have listened to both these narrators before and really enjoy listening to them.

Ugh, I really loved this book. I finished it in one day. The narration was awesome, the love story was sweet and sexy, and the plot was good. It kind of left off on a cliffhanger but the couple the book was about their story was wrapped up nicely. It just left it open for another book about the sister.

This story was so well done, our FMC had a hard life and was raising her sister after her mother fell on hard times and turned to drugs and selling her body. She starts working at a strip club where she meets the MMC, who is a business who is instantly drawn to her. Her lack of trust she pushes him away but he is determined to help make her life better and to love her. Trouble in the FMC life pushes them together close and hard decisions are made. MMC is determined to make things as easy for her as he can and his love for her is so sweet and patient.

I just really loved Gideon Frost he did an awesome job, the emotion and passion in this book was awesome. Sarah always does amazing. I highly recommend giving this a listen!

I loved everything about this book, from Nikki Ash’s fabulous writing style to the amazing characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. I also loved the originality of the story, how it drew me right in, grabbing my attention and captivating it straight to the end. The characters are easy to relate to and connect with. Sienna Bardot is doing her best to take care of herself and your fourteen-year-old sister Ellie, since their mother is nothing but trouble and hardly ever home. To keep her safe, she brings her sister with her to her job at Wanderlust, where she dances. Sienna always dreamed of dancing, but it was on quite a different stage as a ballerina and not a stripper. But she does what she has to do, at least until she gets her college degree. Micah Alexander was smitten with Sienna the moment he laid eyes on her, but he soon learns that she is not like any of the other dancers at the club. She does not give him the time of day, which makes him want her even more. I admired Sienna for her determination to succeed and stick to her plan. Micah steals moments with the help of her sister. Ellie is smart beyond her years, knows the sacrifices her sister makes for her, so she does not want her to pass on what may be the best thing that ever happened to her. My first impressions of Micah were wrong, he may have been a powerful and ruthless businessmen, but we are only shown a glimpse of that side, we get his warm and caring side. He definitely won over my heart very quickly. This is wonderfully plotted story has plenty of drama, some angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I had to look and was so happy to see that Ellie is getting her own book which I am looking forward to and am hoping Lincoln is part of her story. 

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Gideon Frost and Sarah Puckett did an amazing job bringing the characters and their story to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable in every role they played. Frost and Puckett played their roles perfectly, capturing every aspect of their characters' personalities. They put so much heart into their work that you could feel their character's emotions through their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

The Risk of Falling by Nikki Ash is a marriage of convenience romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Gideon Frost and Sarah Puckett.

I absolutely love Nikki's books. I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Micah and Sienna. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series A Risk Worth Taking to be released on January 25, 2024, so I can get Ellie's story.

Gideon and Sarah did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like marriage of convenience romances, romantic suspense, new adult romances, or contemporary romances.
